The Image of Paradise in Yasawi's Dastan "Diwan-i Hikmet" and Dante's Poem "The Divine Comedy"

The article compares the image of paradise in Yasawi’s dastan «Diwani Hikmet» and in Dante’s poem «The Divine Comedy». It is concluded that Yasawi interpreted the great humanistic idea as the source of the human spirit, depicting paradise as a place where the spirit reigns forever, and Dante was in tune with this idea and described paradise in a beautiful way. Comparing the image of paradise in the two works, it was possible to establish that the humanistic idea is an eternal topical topic.
