Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 14-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Microsoft Word for Windows is used for typing texts, formulas, and tables.

  1. GRNTI (http://grnti.ru is determined via the link);
  2. Full name of the author / authors (if there are two or more authors, *Corresponding author is indicated), justified alignment, bold lowercase letters;
  3. Full name of the institution(s) where the author(s) work, information about the city and country;
  4. Email addresses and ORCID and Scopus ID of authors (in the form of an email address); for each address, data are provided on a new line;
  5. Title of the publication;
  6. Abstract (brief description of the problem statement, aim of the article, research methods and results, conclusions, 150-200 words);
  7. Keywords (no fewer than 5 and no more than 10 words or phrases);
  8. Acknowledgements (including funding information) are provided via automatic footnotes on each page;
  9. Introduction;
  10. Materials and research methods;
  11. Analysis;
  12. Results obtained;
  13. Conclusion;
  14. References (in the language of the article and English reference).
  15. Abstract and keywords in two other languages (authors from near and far abroad may provide this information in English and Russian, while the journal editorial office translates it into Kazakh).
  16. At the end of the article, information about the author(s) is provided in three languages (Russian, Kazakh, English): full name, academic degree, academic title, position, university name, address, city, country, ORCID.
  17. List of abbreviations (if abbreviations are present in the article text, references, or figure captions) in the language of the article;
  18. List of illustrations is provided in three languages (language of the article, Russian, and English).

Formatting of the references list:

The APA (American Psychological Association) style is used. References in the text are provided in parentheses indicating the first author, year of publication, and page number(s), for example:

  1. (Kenzhetayev, 2024: 45) or (Kenzhetayev, 2025: URL);
  2. If there are 2 or more authors:
    • (Kenzhetayev et al., 2022: 45);
    • (Kenzhetayev, Tuyakbayev, Kozha, 2026: 45);
  3. If there is no direct reference: (Kenzhetayev, 2022).

Font of the list: Times New Roman, size 12, paragraph indent - 1.25, justified alignment, with line wrapping using a hyphen.

The reference list is provided in two versions:

  1. alphabetical order in the language of the article with numbering;
  2. Latin transliteration with English translation in square brackets.

The list of references does not include dissertations, dissertation abstracts, texts of official documents in various publications (decrees, orders, resolutions, programs, etc.), archival data (and the author's field materials), which are indicated in the article text in parentheses and referenced via automatic footnotes. All abbreviations of archival document data are separated by commas and written in lowercase letters (GA, f. 4, d. 2, l. 16). They are not included in the reference list.

Editing of accepted materials is carried out by the editorial office in accordance with journal requirements and taking into account the authors' viewpoints.

The prepared material is submitted to the editorial board for review and approval.

After agreement with the members of the editorial board, the editor-in-chief submits the final layout for approval to the chair of the editorial board.

After approval by the chair of the editorial board, the material is sent for publication.

The author is responsible for the accuracy and content of the submitted materials. The article text, prepared according to the requirements, is registered on the journal's website.

Articles are accepted for review only upon strict compliance with formatting requirements and submission of a complete set of documents.

Authors are informed about publication timelines after review and peer-review of the materials.
